Not a member of the Quidditch Club? Do you want to see what true Harry Potter fans we have here at UE? Meetings are Monday nights at 10:00 PM in Hyde 126!
Miss this week?s Quibbler? Not on the mailing list? Read the latest club news, Potter updates, and general trivia here!
For those lost souls who have stumbled here wondering where they have landed, we are the costuming branch of the Quidditch Club. If you are interested in making any outfit (Harry Potter or not) but do not know where to start, we are here to help! If you already know how to sew, you are more than welcome to come by and help others in everything from picking out that one special fabric to putting in the finishing stitch to their new robes.
Of course, we will make more than just robes! From magical to muggle attire, modern or historical, there is someone here that will know how to help. In fact, the local UE medieval society is a frequent patron of this close knit sewing circle.
Sew why costume? I'm assuming that if you've made it this far down the page, you are either already a member or slightly interested in joining! Major costumed events this semester include the annual Yule Ball, and now an end of the year party (yes, on the same day) where Malkin's Marauders will be sponsoring a costume contest! Who will come out on top? Unfortuantly we aren't diviners, so I guess we will just have to wait until Dec 2nd to find out!
Costumed events in the future? Trust me; they are out there next semester! (Despite the fact that certain other members of the Quidditch Exec board would kill me for saying more...*suspense!*).
Well, you've read through this much, I'm assuming you want information on how to join now, don't you? It's easy! If you are not on either the Quidditch Club or Medieval Society mailing list, email me (Lierin) at LH81 and tell me that you want to receive Malkin's Marauders emails. Otherwise, just show up one random Saturday evening at 2 pm in Moore Hall lobby and follow us down into the Room of Requirement where we work our magic.
And with that, Lords and Ladies, I will stop before subjecting you to any more sewing related puns. As a parting gift from this web page, let me provide you with a few helpful links and pictures.
